PROVISIONING NOTICE · REQUIRED READING

Required after provisioning: policies, terms, and service boundaries

This required Fast-BGP service notice is sent after each provisioning. By purchasing, accepting, or continuing to use a service, the customer confirms compliance with this notice, the order terms, and applicable data-center and upstream-carrier rules. Where rules differ, the specific order and rules applicable to the resource govern.

01

Keep contact details current

Email and client-center tickets are the primary channels for provisioning, suspension, termination, resource recovery, network maintenance, attack alerts, and other important notices. Customers must keep a valid, monitored email address and respond promptly. Risks caused by invalid contact details or unread notices remain with the customer.

02

Lawful use and prohibited activity

Customers must comply with laws applicable where the product and data center are located and must not infringe third-party rights, intellectual property, or network security. Fast-BGP does not determine whether a customer has obtained every license required for its business.

  • Unlawful politically sensitive use, phishing or fraud, pornography or child sexual abuse material, illegal gambling, coercive violence, incitement of hatred, brand impersonation, or other illegal content
  • Hacking, trojans, viruses, malware, botnets, DDoS/SYN floods, vulnerability or port scanning, credential attacks, or other intrusion activity
  • Spam and unauthorized books, music, software, videos, or other infringing material
  • Using VPNs or similar services to conduct unlawful cross-border telecommunications, or conduct likely to trigger retaliation, complaints, or disruption to other users
03

Abuse complaints and emergency action

When Fast-BGP, a data center, or an upstream provider receives an abuse complaint, detects an attack, or receives a valid request from a government, court, law-enforcement agency, rights holder, or counsel, affected connectivity or services may be restricted, suspended, or terminated immediately, evidence may be preserved, and legally required information may be supplied. Emergency action may precede notice. Customers must explain and remediate within the stated deadline.

  • A violating service may be suspended, deleted, or terminated without refund
  • Serious violations may result in account and related-data removal and lawful cooperation with authorities
04

Network, bandwidth, and IP boundaries

Route quality depends on customer location, mainland and international carriers, direction, time, congestion, and third-party networks. Mainland-optimized, global, and international bandwidth have different coverage; global routes may fluctuate at peak times, while international bandwidth does not guarantee direct mainland-China routing and may detour through another region. Fixed latency, packet loss, or consistently identical performance is not guaranteed unless expressly included in the order or SLA.

  • Carrier maintenance, data-center power work, configuration upgrades, or maintenance may cause temporary interruption
  • We will help analyze and escalate carrier-caused latency, packet loss, or reachability issues, but do not promise compensation or refunds on that basis
  • No free IP replacement is guaranteed when blocking, risk listing, or reputation issues result from the customer's own workload
05

System security, data, and technical service

After delivery, customers are responsible for the server OS, accounts, applications, patches, access control, and data security. Storage devices are consumable and RAID is not a backup; customers must keep independent or off-site backups and back up before reinstallations, upgrades, migrations, or network changes. Fast-BGP is not liable for compensation for data loss caused by customer action, credential compromise, intrusion, hardware failure, or abuse, though reasonable diagnostic assistance will be provided where feasible.

  • Change initial credentials, restrict management ports, and enable appropriate security controls immediately
  • Fast-BGP's standard technical scope includes one free OS reinstall per server per month; custom images, licensing, and managed operations require separate confirmation
  • Customers are responsible for lawful licensing and activation of Windows and other commercial software unless expressly included
06

Renewal, expiry, refunds, and resource changes

Customers are responsible for invoices and renewal. After expiry, a service may be suspended, canceled, or deleted and resources and data may be released without further notice; interruption or data loss caused by non-payment or missed renewal remains with the customer. Unless Fast-BGP cannot complete a confirmed delivery or a written agreement states otherwise, delivered services and non-provider-caused issues are normally non-refundable.

  • Upstream or business changes may require recovery of IPs, bandwidth, or server hardware; we will seek to communicate and offer a feasible replacement or transition
  • Price changes normally apply only to new orders and do not retroactively change existing orders; account credit is non-withdrawable
  • Displayed product prices exclude tax by default; taxes and third-party fees follow the invoice and payment channel
07

Customer checklist after provisioning

Complete the following checks immediately after receiving provisioning details. Continued use confirms acceptance of the delivered configuration and the boundaries on this page. Preserve evidence and report configuration or access issues promptly through a linked ticket.

  • Verify hostname, IP, region, hardware, bandwidth, traffic allowance, OS, and expiry date
  • Change credentials and configure firewall, keys, patches, monitoring, and backups
  • Confirm the workload is lawful and follows data-center, network, and upstream acceptable-use rules
  • Allowlist Fast-BGP email and monitor invoices, tickets, and alerts
08

Updates and order of application

Fast-BGP may update this notice following changes in law, data-center, or upstream-carrier rules, effective upon publication. Customers are responsible for reviewing updates. The specific order, quote, SLA, product notice, and data-center or upstream rules for the resource supplement this notice; to the extent permitted by law, the more specific rule directly applicable to the resource governs.
